Great site, very informative. I am the secretary of the Stockton Dune Buggy club, located just north of Newcastle NSW. Our club has just completed its affiliation with CAMS and is now only waiting on a few formalities to be completed before it goes racing again after some time out of the scene. This new club is the result of an amalgamation between the former Hunter Valley and Newcastle dune buggy clubs and has around 60 members. All competition events are held on the dunes of Stockton beach, and if any of your readers are interested in joining or are just after some info, please direct them to my email address. As stated, you've done a great job with your site and I will be back to check on updates.

I loved your site and I thought that you did an incredable job. I am thinking about making a buggy out of a 250cc road bike engine and putting a frame with some shocks and making something to bush bash around the backyard. Thank you for reading my notes and I hope I can write back soon. from Peter Nash a trusted fan.

G'day, not a bad site!! Got on to this through the fliers you put in the `show bags' that we got at the gate to mudbash. I'm from J.C.R.C. in woodend. We were there with our car,MAD STAG, but only made it through Sat as we blew the head gasket, and didnt have a spare. Anyway got the info that I needed for the TOOAN 12 HOUR, so we might see you there.

Love your web site, lots of interesting stuff. We here at The Edge Products we have been building offroad recreation vehicles for the past ten years & are just getting into the Australian Racing scene. We are designing & building a class 3 racer for a customer powered by a WRX Imprezza Turbo, fully independent double "A" arms on all corners etc & are having a ball doing it!. Up to this point all of our vehicle designs have been for recreation use only but a few keen customers have out grown these & given us a healthy budget to design them something a little more "gutsy"!!.I suppose we are testiment to the growth of offroading in this country, over the past six years we have had more than 15,000 customers in Australia doing some pretty intensive advertising in national magazines. Hopefully some of those customers will "get the bug" & go on to offroad racing to help keep the sport alive. Its alot of fun & we are trying to do our part in promoting offroading as a recreation passtime & making sure they get abit of an education into the respect for other outdoor users as well.Keep in touch!, there will be some pretty wild products & designs coming out in the near future.

It would be nice if you could add Ausshock to your shock absorber list.I am a supporter off Ausshock, they are just as good as any others and are easily adjusted as they are Australian made. A few more pictures would be a good idea eg.a picture of a car in each class.I could help with class 5 as I believe they are the most enjoyable. I think it is great to see an off-road site and with a few more pictures it would be great.

I am looking to rebuild a class 3 buggy and would really appreciate it if I could get some drawings of frames. The current frame is too big and square looking,I'm striving to make it look newer not so old fashioned. It's nice to see someone trying to keep off-road alive in Australia because numbers are showing that the sport is dying. P.S. anyone looking to go into off-road get into Class 5-the real cars. From the navigator of car 507 :-)

Good page. Keep on racing, our sport will only get better with people the like of yourself willing to promote it. I have been going around the Off Scene for some time now (i think 12 yrs) and have made alot of good friends. Unlike other forms of Australian motorsport the off roaders help each other out. So next National you go to Look for No 127 and have a Chat and a COLD CAN. All the Best

Hi Rod, I found you link on CAMS Limited "Links". Your Site certainly covers a lot of subjects, very well done. Would you please consider adding our URL to your Links for the 'Bridgestone International' at Kempsey.I also noted that the Bridgestone International is not listed under your Tracks Information. Would you please add same, you will find the info on our page under "Race Information." Also note on this page that 13 out of 17 Off Road Champions come from VIC. You must be doing something right in VIC. Please note that you "Contacts" gives a 404 Error. Keep up the good work, Regards, John & Thelma Williama
