Services - Basic Scanning
Basic Scanning transforms your negatives, slides and photographs into digital images which are stored onto a compact disk as high resolution 24 bit colour, digital images. Optionally images can also be stored in a variety of sizes and formats optimized for practical use in emails and on web pages. Digital versions of your photographs are a pre-requisite for any of the Presentation Services offered by Snapshot-Archive. The high resolution digital images can also be used to produce conventional prints through one of the many online digital processing services or even through most modern (conventional) photo processing outlets. Note: It is not necessary to use our basic scanning service if you already have your images in digital format. For example on photo CDs created by a conventional film developer can be used to produce a VCD or DVD slideshow. |
