The Royal Shepherd is a wreck between North and South Head in approximately 30 metres of water.

We were with Jason on one of Dive Centre Manly's Cats again. It took Jason a little while to hook the wreck. While he was doing this I spent some of the time looking at the same gun emplacement I saw last week. He also pointed out a penguin playing on the surface.

Again we had the ponys Tony had hooked up. And we used them on the ascent, just for the practice.

It was a very enjoyable dive. I followed Illana straight down. The wreck now only consists of the boiler, the propeller shaft and some ribs. We had a poke around and came back up with two deco stops.

Illana kissed me for the first time underwater

We saw some tiny fish and jellyfish on the anchor line.
