These are the versions that Hare and Forbes sell in Australia. Prices are AUD. This page is from 2002 catalogue. It mentions adjustable ball bearing spindle, in fact they are taper roller bearings. Also note that the 115mm(about 4.5inch) is the centre height. My lathe is the AL-50A. The metal box at the left end of the lead screw is an empty box probably there for appearance purposes, I removed it.
