Dial Parade

A few weeks ago I bought these things on Ebay Australia, crazy? yea, but but , the price was right.

Back row from left, Baty (England) 1" travel in .0005" (1/2 thou) graduations, excellent condition.

John Bull British Indicators Ltd, 1/2" travel in .0005" graduations, excellent condition, yellow face with green lettering.

Mercer (England) 1/2" travel in .0005" graduations, excellent condition.

John Bull British Indicators Ltd, 1/2" travel in .0005" graduations, excellent condition, yellow face with green lettering.

Front left, Mercer (England) 1/2" travel in .0005" graduations, excellent condition.

Johansson 3.5" to 4" adjustable Go/NoGo gauge, excellent condition.

Oh right at the back are two nifty stands that I haven't thought of a use for, YET, :) :)

All the special stands(jigs) are very well made, especially the see-saw type one, it has hardened and ground pieces screwed in where the item to be checked was inserted. I think this stuff must have lived in an inspection room and had a pretty easy life.

A close up of one of the Mercer dials,,,BEEAAUTIIFULLLL, he he.

BUT THERE'S MORE

Don't let my little missus see these. Most of these I have bought over the years. So youngns don't get jealous. When I'm ready to buy a milling machine I'll liquidate some of these so the cash can go towards mill/mill tooling. Liquidate? likely story.

I'll try to get around to photograph my other measuring nic-nacs and put a web page up. Nah nah no more dials, just verniers, micrometers, calipers, depth gauges etc.

This should be a new window, minimise or close it to return to Home Page or press
