Jazz Standards 201:
Level 2 of the jazz course will again be on offer in 2009. Level 2
focuses on all those hard and fast "jam session" type tunes, post
bop, modal and free jazz.
On completion of level 2 students will be ready and able to enjoy ANY
type of jazz gig that comes there way!
Want to join a big band? well here is your chance!
Rehearsal time is from 12.30-3.30pm on a Saturday. All music will
be provided and assistance in learning to play it!
Material will
cover classic big band Swing, Cuban Mambo and more. You don't need to
have monster chops or be a killer sight reader to join as this
class is all about improving your skills.
