Google Ads & eBay
From Column 8 in the Sydney Morning Herald today:
( http://www.smh.com.au/column8/index.html - but it changes everyday )
An expectant father, Mat McLachlan, of Collaroy, did a Google search for the term "newborn baby". Apparently Google has a commercial relationship with the eBay auction site because the following automatically appeared on his screen: "Make money, compare prices, sell your newborn baby on eBay." Sorry, not interested.
When you click on this ad, the products are relevant. I'm not sure whether this counts as good advertising (gets your attention) or whether it puts people off.
It put's me off, but its sort of funny I guess.
