The next morning, we had our traditional opening ceremony--with an improvised flagpole as you can see…
We stayed our first 2 nights at "Geoff's Place" and camped in hike tents we brought with us. Here you can see our specially designed "uniform" - pink tie-dyed sarongs we made during term.

First thing we had to do of course was hit the beach--just a short stroll away from the campsite--the senior guides and ranger guides went Jet-skiing, while the Guides swan and kayaked or used the peddle-os.


	See the evil look on the driver's face?--the Junior Leader passenger needed a change of underwear after this ride ;-) - Heaven help us when these RGs get their car license...

Just because you're travelling is no excuse not to exfoliate?! We all loved the beaches...for different reasons ;-)
