VK3BIZ Amateur Television Project

Amateur Television Project:

I am in the process of building the VK5EME Minikits ATV transmitter and Receive Converter for 1250MHz FM. The Melbourne ATV Repeater has an input on 1250Mhz FMTV and has its output on 444.25MHz VSB-AM. I plan to use four phased loop yagi antennas on 23cm, given to me by a friend, however I do not as yet have a tower to mount them on.

I have an old Amiga 2000 , given to me by my brother Alan and a Neriki Genlock which I plan to use to do video overlays and keyhole effects. The Genlock synchronises the Amiga pixel clock to the horizontal synch of the video source (camera) which the Amiga graphics is overlayed.

Update April 2002:

I gave away the Amiga 2000 and all the software in a clean out of the house. I plan to use the TV out of the nVidia GeForce II MX200.

One day I might even finish this project.
