My station equipment and general arrangement
at mid 2007 was as below. All equipment is currently in storage.
The antennae in use were the
dual
band J pole antenna operational over the entire 6Mtr band (50
– 54MHz) and the entire 2Mtr band (144 – 148MHz), a 70cm
(430-450Mhz) co-linear with
J pole feed arrangement, a 3.5 - 30Mhz HF antenna system made up
of a All Band HF Dipole
and 'Z' Match ATU and
a steerable 435MHz patch
antenna array for satellite up and down linking.
The patch
array is fed with low loss LMR400 coax and associated
fittings.

TS-430S
The
TS-430S covers 1.8 - 30 MHz all-mode with 100 watts of r.f. output.
Yaesu
FT-736R
The
FT-736R covers 50, 144 and 430 MHz bands all-mode with 10 watts
maximum on 50-54MHz and 30 watts maximum on 144-148 and 430-450MHz
and has programmable channels and tone burst.
Yaesu
FT-212RH
Mobile
radio covering 144-148Mhz FM at 5 or 45 watts output with
programmable channels and scan profile.
Yaesu
FRG-7
The model
FRG-7 is an all solid state synthesized communication receiver
designed to cover the entire high frequency spectrum, 500 kHz to
29.9 MHz. The FRG-7 is a triple conversion super heterodyne receiver
utilizing synthesized heterodyne oscillator known as the Wadley Loop
System.

RT85
The RT-85 is a widely used ex
commercial mobile radio popular during the 1980's. The RT85 has an
output of approximately 20watts at 400-500MHz with (5Khz) FM and
1-99channels. The RT85 is EPROM controlled radio complete with a
remote head. For further technical information see http://www.qsl.net/vk3byy/
