WENT TO HEAVEN
Before my
mummy went to
heaven
she promised me
one thing,
that after she

hear her sing

I was so scared
for my mummy
her pain she
tried to hide,
my daddy's pain

it was late as I
drove along,

I had no idea
what I was doing
or what I was
looking for,
all I knew was
the ignition key
and how to open
the door
The night was
getting darker
my interior
light was off,
I tried to start
the car again
it choked and
then it coughed
I locked myself
inside the car
for I was all
alone,
all I could see
was wilderness
with no sign of
any phone
But just sitting
there was not a
help
I was sort of
feeling scared,
I needed to go
for help
but I wondered
if I dared
I weighed up the
situation
then thought I
best stay here,
for if a friend
found an empty
car
there's the
dread that they
may fear
so I waited
through the
night
all windows
wound up tight,
check all the
doors were
locked
and that I was
out of sight
I found a
blanket to lay
over me
on my bag I
rested my head,
then over and
over in my mind
I remember what
