HAND IN HAND
Reminiscing of the times
when we walked hand in hand,
we went to the beaches
we laid on the sand
A stroll in the park
or gazing at our star,
going to the movies
or a drive in the car
These are the memories
of the times I adore,
there are no other memories
that I could treasure more

HELLO
Hello Mrs. Bird
my name is Mrs. Cat,
I remember your mother
she was plump and very fat
Hello Mrs. Cat
How have you been,
I am really very scrawny
as you have now seen
Oh no Mrs. Bird
I remember you much thinner,
I have just dropped by
to invite you to dinner
Thank you Mrs. Cat
I'll decline the invitation,
children will be home soon
then I get hubby from the station
Okay Mrs. Bird
I will get back to the house,
If I'm very lucky
I may pass Mrs. Mouse

HOW DO I KNOW?

She came into my life
for the first time today,
she was so beautiful"
I invited her to stay
She followed me to my bed
with only innocence in her eyes,
baffled by all this beauty
her body told no lies
I did feel some concern
but I could only lay and stare,
at this beauty that lay beside me
my fingers stroking her hair
I watch as her eyes became sleepy
her trust I'm sure I had gained,
But how will I ever know
if this puppy was toilet trained?

HOME

There are a
mound of dishes
with many other
chores,
there are people
in and out
you hear the
slamming of the
doors
While listening
for the children
happily out at
play,
There are many
things to do
before the
closure of the
day
with the washing
and ironing
the meals to
prepare,
first you must
go shopping
so you shower
and fix your
hair
These are the
things
you tend to day
after day,
for this is your
home
you'd have it no
other way

HIDDEN TEARS
As I sit with
hidden tears
no dampness on
my cheeks,
I knew without
the words
there was no
need for you to
speak
I need you to
know I
understand
before you go
your way,
I know it's not
easy
I can feel you
want to stay
You'll take my
heart With you
leaving with me
your pain,
we'll search our
souls for
answers
in hope it will
help explain
There are many
miles between us
we are many
moons apart,
I will always
cherish your
memory
that is held
within my heart

HELD DEEP WITHIN
Have you ever met that someone
that you really feel is yours,
a natural tie of bonding
that open up the doors
Someone you can rely on
knowing they will be there,
someone you can talk to
as you know they really care
You bond yourself a closeness
in trusting all they do,
share with them your feelings
as you know they love you too
I have an overwhelming anger
I hold deep within,
I know how it started
but where did it begin
It has mixed my emotions
it has brought on a fear,
I sometimes feel it's gone
yet I know that it is near
Will it ever release me
show me love is not pain,
give me the key to freedom
to start over again

HE HEARS
YOU

He hears you
speak, He hears
you Sing,
He hears you
laugh, what joy
you bring,
He hears you
read, He sees
you write,
He sees you seek
for others
delight,
You will be safe
from all evil
both at home or
abroad,
You will live
always under
the eye of 'The
Lord'
Whatever your
thoughts
in joy or in
woe,
it is nothing
you would not
want
'The Lord' to
know
Even as you
whisper
your words are
loud and clear,
you say nothing
you would not
want
'The Lord' to
hear
Those words that
you read
the words that
you pen,
are words 'The
Lord'
would read over
again
no perturbation
on your face
for it would
certainly heed
If God should
say solemnly
"could I also
read?"
Whatever you
write
with thought or
despair,
write nothing
you would not
want
'The Lord' to
share
Where ever you
travel
go where there's
no fear,
for God may
question
"what brings you
here?"
What ever your
pleasures
or pass times
you engage,
for the
enjoyment of
youth
or the comforts
of age
The pleasures
you seek
or you may be a
part
God will be
looking down
with you in His
heart.

HERO
The people around you
are strangers in fright,
their life is hell
every day and night
It is a horrific nightmare
in which you live,
with all your mortal soul
you must give
This is the land
where you may live or die,
this blood soaken sand
is where you could lie
Your life may be over
no one even knows your name,
knowing that you fought for them
they know why you came
You will become a tag
with a number replaced by a cross,
remembered by your family
you will be their greatest loss
