Upon completion of the first draft of the online learning environment, formative and summative evaluation needs to take place. During the delivery period of the online learning environment, feedback and support may need to be provided to students depending upon their perceived need for learning support. At the end of the online learning environment's delivery period, the feedback and support provided to students may be worked into the revised version of the online learning environment in order to provide improved learning support for future student cohorts. The online learning environment's ongoing development will also benefit from students' evaluation of their learning experiences at the end of its delivery period.
